WHO WE ARE

We are a family owned and operated New Zealand business, having grown from a sole person working from home by the beach in 2014, to a multi-faceted lighting company with offices, fabrication and warehousing based in Woolston, Christchurch.

We have established ourselves as a trusted advisor and supplier in lighting. We partner with architects, designers, and engineers to bring their projects to life.

Lyonne and Eddie, the company directors, have over 50 years combined experience in the lighting and electrical industries. Lyonne started her lighting career in retail, owning a lighting shop in Riccarton Rd , moving to electrical wholesale as a lighting designer (Ed and Lyonne met at work) then as a supplier rep for a lighting company, completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Illumination Engineering while working and becoming a specification consultant for Targetti Lighting prior to starting I C Lighting in 2014. Ed started his career as a metal spinner and fabricator for a lighting manufacturer not long after leaving school, after a sports injury he moved into the electrical wholesale trade eventually specializing in data and communications.

We focus on supplying solutions, whether they are from our agency partners, our own imported ranges or custom-made fittings, designed and made in house. We can work with you on your project and supply the most innovative technical and aesthetic solutions. We pride ourselves on our customer service and project management skills with quality, sustainability, performance, and innovation at the forefront of our business ethos.

We “get” lighting, we know how to make a space look and feel exceptional while meeting all lighting compliance standards or regulations, so please have a look through our website or contact one of the fantastic team to talk about your lighting solutions.
